Rangers assistant manager Gary McAllister has revealed that it would be difficult to secure winger Ryan Kent on a permanent deal at the club.
Gary McAllister is a Liverpool Legend and he’s the assistant to another Reds great Steven Gerrard at Scottish Premiership giants Rangers.
He spoke about Rangers winger Ryan Kent in an interview with the Daily Record.
According to him, Rangers are not sure of retaining his services beyond this season and that the decision lies with parent club Liverpool.
He further pointed out that the club would be more than happy to turn his loan contract into a permanent one.
Ryan Kent is on a season-long loan deal at Rangers from Premier League title contenders Liverpool at the moment having joined at the start of the season.
The 22-year-old has impressed a great deal after netting six goals and providing four assists in 16 appearances in the league.
The ex-England u-20.international is a firm favourite with the Rangers fans who would definitely like him to stay with the club.
Ryan Kent has played a major role in the Gers’ return to contention for the Scottish Premiership title though they still have a long way to go to reach the level of rivals Celtic.
