The reason why Arsenal drop interest in Inter Milan star

It has been confirmed that English Premier League outfit Arsenal have dropped their interest in Serie A side Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic as the January winter transfer window runs out, according to reports.

The report claims that the North London outfit made the decision to drop interest in Ivan Perisic so as to reignite their interest in Belgian star Yannick Carrasco.

The North London outfit are desperate to land new additions in this winter transfer window which ends in hour’s time so as to be able to secure a Champions League spot.

It was reported that the Gunners made a shock move for Ivan Perisic but the Serie A outfit failed to agree on a deal with the English Premier League outfit for a loan move.

Meanwhile, Ivan Perisic is reported to have handed a transfer request to the club. It is unlikely his request would be met.

However, the North London side are now faced with a move for the Chinese outfit Dalian Yifang striker who is keen to return to European football.

It is therefore, not clear if the North London side will meet with the demands of the star player as regards his weekly wage which is understood to be high.
