Manchester United interim coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has explained why it was easy for his side to walk out of the Stamford Bridge with a resounding 2-0 win over Chelsea on Monday night at the FA Cup.
The chances of the Red Devils are now brightened for a title win while the Blues now have their chances cut short as they are only left with the Carabao Cup on Sunday and the Europa League Cup.
The win makes it United’s 11th win under the former player in his 13 games in charge and there is no better way to bounce back from the 2-0 defeat they suffered against PSG in the Champions League than this.
Speaking after the game, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer stated that his side were able to secure a win because they had planned tactics for the game and it worked perfectly.
He made it clear that Pogba and Ander Herrera were asked to go higher into the opponent’s box mother often to add to Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford who are already there and it worked.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, therefore, hailed the players for playing to instruction and fighting to the end as that was the reason why they won against Chelsea.
