Despite various reports linking Brazil and Chelsea attacking midfielder Oscar away from Stamford Bridge in January, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has come out to restate that the Brazilian star is going nowhere and that he is part of his plans for the season campaign.
According to Daily Star, Italian side Inter Milan are interested in the services of Oscar. The 25-years old star has failed to find a starting spot in Antonio Conte’s preferred 3-4-3 formation in Chelsea’s last five EPL games.
Speaking in a press briefing ahead Chelsea tomorrow game against Middlesbrough, Conte said:
“Oscar’s future is Chelsea, full stop,” said Conte.
“For me Oscar is an important player in the squad.
“For me he stays at Chelsea. It’s important this message arrives for all. Oscar will stay with us because I consider him an important player for Chelsea.”
The sensational midfielder who moved to Chelsea in 2012 has only manage nine appearances so far this season in all competitions, with his last Premier League start going back on September in a defeat to Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
Though a potential move in January may not be possible considering the fact that the Blues might be letting creative midfielder Cesc Fabregas go on a loan move. However, the Brazilian might consider a move away from Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, should he not be given enough playing time.
