Manchester United booked a ticket for next season’s Champions League when they beat Arsenal 2-1 in the premier league last weekend at Old Trafford.
Despite challenges and all, the red devils are likely to finish the term on the second spot of the table. Yeah, many of us might not love Jose Mourinho’s ‘unnecessarily park the bus mentality’ – but the results are there.
However, if the red devils are to beat Manchester City to the premier league next season, they must splash some cash this summer to reinforce their squad.
Apart from the midfield department, manager Jose Mourinho is particular about signing a left-back when the window reopens. Although Ashely Young has been impressive this season, the talented Englishman is not a natural defender (and he is also expected to hang his boots soon)
Mourinho has reportedly identified Alex Sandro as the solution he needs at that position – but must it be Sandro?
Instead of the Juventus star, Mourinho should try bringing Bayern Munich’s David Alaba to Old Trafford when summer comes.
Alaba, rated £45M, is one of the best defenders in the world. Manchester United is a big club that can afford to pay the transfer fee and even huge wages.
So, Manchester United fans, should your club bring Alaba in?
