Serge Aurier given two-month jail sentence for attacking a police officer
Paris Saint-Germain right-back Serge Aurier has been given a suspended two-month prison sentence for attacking a police officer. The Ivorian appeared at the Correctional Court in Paris on Monday to face charges over an incident outside a nightclub in the city in May. He was arrested following an argument with police near the Champs-Elysees in the early hours of May 30 and put in a holding cell for "using violence on a police officer." After hearing the case, the prosecutor requested a two-month suspended sentence with community service. Mauricio Pochettino says Tottenham have received positive news about star striker Harry Kane and hopes he returns from injury within the next three weeks.
