Real Madrid to pay 18 Million Euros from Illegal Land Deal
The European Union has mandated Real Madrid to pay 18.4 million euros in alleged illegal aid from a land deal. “We are going to file an appeal, and I am absolutely convinced we will win,” Real president Florentino Perez told a press conference. In 1998, the club paid the city 595,000 euros for the land but the deal ultimately fell through because of technical problems. Super Falcons Make Camp Ahead of Africa Women’s Cup
The Super Falcons have made camp ahead of the 2016 Africa Women Cup of Nations. The competition will hold in Cameroon between November 19 and December 3. The Falcons are in Group B alongside rivals Ghana. Kenya and Mali are the other teams in the group as Nigeria aim for their eighth record African title. "You are Fired!" That was the statement that welcomed Libya's Coach after their disastrous match with Congo after a 4-0 Loss. The Spanish Coach, Javier Clemente who is a 68-year-old with previous experience was not spared the wrath of powers-that-be. Clemente has coached Serbia and Cameroon, numerous clubs in his homeland and Marseille, was due to leave in November when his contract expired.
