Chelsea participated appropriately in last summer’s transfer window, and one of the new players signed was Marseille’s star striker Michy Batshuayi.
However, Michy has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the Chelsea first team this season under Italian boss Antonio Conte.
The Belgian striker is yet to start a single game for the Blues in the Premier League this current campaign as he bids to help the London club win the title.
He has scored five times in all competitions for his side so far this season and last appeared for Antonio Conte’s side in their 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace earlier this month.
It appears former Arsenal man Ian Wright believes Batshuayi has a lot to offer. He states that the player deserves a chance to prove himself in the blues first team this season under their new Italian boss.
Wright is of the opinion that Michy should be allowed to prove his worth before this season ends, emphasizing on the reason the striker has not shown his worth is because he’s never gotten a chance.
The west London club are getting set for their next game: the FA Cup semi-final clash against an in-form Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley on Saturday evening.
They are still top of the premier league table being four points clear to their closest rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
