Arsenal player Mesut Ozil has stated that he has no intention of leaving the Emirates Stadium in coming years.
Despite being 30 years of age, the former Real Madrid midfielder stated that he is still young as he dismissed all reports linking away from the club despite signing a new deal with the club of recent.
Ozil has been enjoying life at Arsenal scoring a total of three goals and one assist for the North London side in the Premier League.
However, the German midfielder is open-minded in ending his career at the Emirates Stadium because he is happy to play at a big club like Arsenal.
Ozil praised manager Unai Emery for helping him settle at the club with the tactics which has ensured a way forward for the club since the exit of former French manager Arsene Wenger.
However, the curtains have been drawn for Ozil’s international career after he made his unceremonious retirement known after the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Ozil claims to be used as a scapegoat for the team’s awful performance at the World Cup as well as allegations of racism against him for his meeting with the Turkish President before the World Cup.
