Man United Set To Battle For Top Box-to-box Midfielder, Fans Will Love Him

Manchester United have been encouraged to submit an offer for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, Blaise Matuidi, according to reports.

The Reds Devils have been linked to swoop for a central midfielder this summer as the boss, Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his side ahead of a new campaign, with reports that he wants his new arrivals to go on their pre-season tour in order to jell ahead of a new season.

Matuidi has only 12 months on his current deal at the Parc Du Princes and was on the verge of signing a new deal before the arrival of the new sporting director, Antero Henrique, sparking suggestions that the club might want to cash in on the midfielder.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is said to be an avid admirer of the 30-year-old ability and will try to lure the Old Trafford this summer.

The Frenchman could provide adequate competition for any midfield in Europe due to his ability to play defensively and offensively too.

However, reports in reliable Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport claim that Juventus are leading the race to sign Matuidi and will use Juan Cuadrado as a makeweight in a potential deal which might attract PSG who are ready to cash in on the player.
