Former Chelsea winger Florent Malouda has joined Swiss Super League club FC Zurich.
His transfer was confirmed by the club earlier on Tuesday morning.
The 38-year-old will team up with FC Zurich in a player-coach capacity.
Florent Malouda has joined the Swiss club as a free agent.
The French international star is not eligible to face Italian Serie A giants Napoli in the last 32 of the Europa League.
FC Zurich lost the first leg 3-1 at home and they have a big mountain to climb in the second leg scheduled to take place in Sao Paolo on Thursday night.
Florent Malouda was a fantastic servant for Chelsea whom he played for between 2007 and 2013.
The 80-cap French international player was a regular fixture on the left side of the Blues midfield for almost a decade.
He was part of the Chelsea squad that won the 2009/10 Premier League title under the guidance of current Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti before helping the Blues win the Champions League title in 2012.
Malouda and Chelsea saw off German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich in front of their fans via the penalty shootout route.
FC Zurich would be hoping that Florent Malouda brings his wealth of football experience to the team both on and off the pitch.
