Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has told friends that he has agreed a move to Real Madrid this summer, according to reports.
The Spanish goalie has been linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, after failing to materialize a move during 2015 owing to a fax machine error.
De Gea has not been convincing this season under Jose Mourinho, who openly criticized the performances of the goalie this season, which resulted into a training ground row between the pair although both of them denied reports of such incident.
The Portuguese boss has decided to start second-choice goalkeeper Sergio Romero ahead of De Gea in the latter stages of the season, further fueling speculations of a strained relationship between them.
The 26-year-old shot-stopper who made 35 appearances for the Red Devils last season, appears to have been his last game after reports in Spanish news outlet Diario Gol claim that the keeper has agreed to move to Real Madrid this summer following successful transfer talks.
The report also have it that Real president Florentino Perez will soon announce confirmation of the deal after De Gea reportedly told his pals that he will be returning to the Spanish La Liga.
