Las Palmas have signed Chelsea outcast Loic Remy on a two-year deal on a reported free transfer. The 30-year-old striker passed a medical examination on Thursday evening and will be presented to fans on Saturday. The Frenchman played 32 Premier League matches for the Blues, after joining them for £8.5m from QPR back in 2014 and spent the last campaign on loan at London club Crystal Palace. Remy was also sent out on loan to Newcastle and has played for about four sides in the French Ligue 1. Premier League Champions Chelsea have named ‘rebel’ Diego Costa in their English Premier League squad despite the Spaniard trying to push through a transfer to former side Atletico Madrid.
