According to new reports, Liverpool talented youngster Cameron Brannagan is ready to leave Anfield following a contract dispute with the reds.
The Independent reported that he has emerged as a transfer target for a handful of Premier League and Championship clubs and they are interested in securing his signature.
It is understood that the Merseyside club want the player to sign a contract extension with them before sending him out on loan as he only has a year remaining on his current deal.
However, the playmaker wasn’t keen on putting pen to paper at Anfield without being assured about his future at the club, and he desire knowing if will be granted chances in the first-team in the future.
Last campaign, the 21-year-old was on loan at Fleetwood Town and he performed well above average with his impressive displays. He is understood to be set to make a step up to the English second flight as Derby County are monitoring his situation.
Brannagan is not part of reds squad travelling to play in the Premier League Asia Trophy.
However, he has been training with the club’s under-23 side and even scored in their first friendly last week and wasn’t included in Jurgen Klopp’s side that faced Tranmere and Wigan.
It was added that Stoke City are set to bring him in as he searches for regular first-team action in the premier league.
