Manchester United have been put on alert following reports that Neymar’s representatives have advised the player to leave Barcelona this summer, according to reports.
The Red Devils have been linked with a move for the Brazilian star this transfer window, with reports that United boss Jose Mourinho has been in contact with the 25-year-old over a possible deal.
Manchester United will have to pay up Neymar £195million release clause to have the forward at the Old Trafford this summer.
Reports in the Sport have it that the forward has become unsettled and uncomfortable at the Camp Nou and might fancy a move to Manchester United or Paris Saint Germain who are scouting the market for a record signing.
The report also claim that Neymar’s close associates have told the player to seek a move away from Barcelona or risk remaining in the shadow of Lionel Messi at the Camp Nou.
The former Santos star who joined Barcelona in 2013, has been a brilliant figure for the Catalan giants, striking an excellent partnership with Messi and Luis Suarez but has not been able to achieve his dream of winning the Ballon d’or, with suggestions that a move from Barcelona could help achieved his dream.
Although, Neymar recently sarcastically responded to questions about his future at Camp Nou, by claiming ‘anything can happen’
‘Who knows what will happen tomorrow? I’m very happy for now, very well adjusted. But anything can happen, who knows,’
When asked if he fancies a move to Manchester United, he said: ‘Yes… or Eibar!’
