Benfica are willing to sell their goalkeeper, Ederson for a cut-price £26million fee amid keen interest from Manchester United, according to reports.
The Portuguese giants are willing to offload the goalkeeper this summer for a cut-price transfer fee amid growing speculations over his future. Ederson is regarded as one of the best keepers in Europe due to his solid displays for Benfica and the Portuguese national team, drawing keen interest from the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid among others.
The 23-year-old has a £38million release clause his contract with the Portuguese giants but reports in Record claim that the club is ready to lower their demands for the keeper and will sell the shot-stopper for £26million.
Manchester United are believed to be prepared to lose their keeper David De Gea this summer and have started looking for targets to replace their number one who could be off to Real Madrid.
Jose Mourinho is understood to have identified a number of goalkeeping targets as he hopes to find a viable replacement for De Gea, with the likes of AC Milan goalie Gianluigi Donnarumma and Leicester City’s Kasper Scheimechel. Manchester City have also been credited with an interest in Ederson as Pep Guardiola hopes to find a better goalkeeper to Claudio Bravo and Willy Caballero
