Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos could be on his way out of Santiago Bernabeu after hinting at possible move to the Premier League.
The German star has been a vital player for Real in recent seasons, since his move from Bayern Munich in 2014, helping them to a number of laurels and it appears the player now wants a change.
Kroos has hinted that he will fancy a move to England, ruling out a move to the Bundesliga, he said: “In the Bundesliga, I will definitely not play anymore, that chapter is finished.
“I cannot imagine going back to Bayern. It will not happen, so there is no other option for me in Germany. I cannot say what’s going to happen in five years, but the goal is to stay at Real Madrid.”
It is understood that Manchester United who had been credited with an interest in Kroos, will now hope to get one of their targets as Jose Mourinho look to bolster his squad ahead of a busy summer.
Reports in the Independent claim that Mourinho is an admirer of the midfielder’s qualities, having coached him during his time at Real Madrid and might fancy a move for the midfielder despite having the likes of Ander Herrera and Maroune Fellaini who has shown to have real quality.
