Reigning European champions Real Madrid have joined the keenly contested race to sign wantaway Paris Saint Germain (PSG) midfielder Adrien Rabiot according to various media reports.
Other major European clubs including Liverpool have registered their interest in the 23-year-old.
Spanish media outlet El Gol Digital claim that the Los Merengues are keen to sign the aforementioned Rabiot as they look to cut costs with free transfer moves for players during this summer’s transfer window.
It was revealed that French international midfielder Adrien Rabiot is one of several players been targeted by the 13-time European champions.
These players are in the free transfer category as their respective contracts will expire at the end of this season.
Real Madrid have been linked with big money moves for the likes of PSG forward Neymar, Chelsea star Eden Hazard and Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen but the Spaniards also want to explore the free transfer market this summer.
Players in this free transfer category include Chelsea defender David Luiz, Manchester United midfielder Juan Manuel Mata and Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey.
Adrien Rabiot is certain to leave PSG this summer and clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Barcelona are all in the running to sign him alongside Real Madrid.
