Arsenal right back, Stephan Lichtsteiner has claimed that his age is just a number that does not reflect his physicality on the field of play.
According to him, he looks and has the feeling that he is six years younger than his age.
At 34, the new Arsenal recruit has played nearly 600 games at club level as well as winning 103 caps for the Swiss national side; yet, he still looks ready to go.
Lichtsteiner became Unai Emery’s first signing of the season and fans thought it could not be the addition they needed but the manager said the Swiss beings experience to help the youthful Arsenal presence on the pitch.
While admitting that he could say goodbye to national team football, Lichtsteiner said he is not close to hanging his boot the performance data still give him the opportunity to play for more years.
