English Premier League rivals Man United and Arsenal clashed on Sunday at the weekend with the Gunners having the day after winning 2-0.
Goals by Granit Xhaka and another by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were enough to stop the Red Devils from flying and to hand manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer his first defeat in the Premier League since he took over at the club in December last year.
The North London outfit have now taken over the fourth position and are just one point behind third-placed Tottenham with about eight games left until the end of the season.
However, an incident occurred in the game when a fan, presumed to be an Arsenal fan invaded the pitch to push Red Devils defender Chris Smalling.
The fan has been arrested by Metropolitan Police and is likely to be handed a life ban from the stadium for his actions.
The two managers Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Unai Emery had a common ground on the matter as they both condemned the invasion of the pitch, stressing that it is unacceptable and should not happen.
More so, an Arsenal spokesman condemned the incident and tendered an apology to Chris Smalling and Man United for the embarrassment.
