Real Madrid Ready To Sell Chelsea Target For €70m – Report

European champions Real Madrid are reportedly ready to cut their losses on forward Gareth Bale ahead of the resumption of the transfer window this summer.

This is according to the publication from popular Spanish media outlet Sport which revealed that Real Madrid is willing to listen to offers of at least €70m (£60m) for Bale who has been linked with a return to the Premier League when the transfer window reopens in the summer.

It was revealed that the Spanish giants initially wanted to make profits on the £85m they paid to sign him from North London giants Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2013.

Bale, 29, has been linked with a return to Tottenham Hotspur as well as to other major Premier League sides like Manchester United and Chelsea.

The Welsh international player could be a direct replacement for Eden Hazard who has been touted as a likely Real Madrid signing this summer and the two clubs could even do a swap deal which is dependent on the lifting of the two-window transfer ban handed out to Chelsea by FIFA.

Since joining Real Madrid in 2013, Gareth Bale has won four Champions League titles for the Los Merengues in addition to the 2016/17 Spanish La Liga title.
