Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford is set to undergo a medical with Middlesbrough ahead of his £10 million transfer, according to reports.
The Blues have recalled the 23-year-old forward from his loan spell with Burnley after failing to nail a place at the Turf Moor, only managing just six appearances since his loan move last summer transfer window.
Reports in the Daily Telegraph have it that Chelsea has agreed a deal with Middlesbrough for Patrick Bamford, an initial £6m fee is said to be agreed but the total fee will be increased with add-ons.
The 23-year-old had earlier played for Boro in the 2014-15 season, scoring 17 goals in 38 games during his loan move but failed to get promoted from the Championships after losing to Norwich 2-0 in the play-offs last season.
In related news, Chelsea have seemingly confirmed that Baba Rahman will not return to the Stamford Bridge after giving his number six shirt to Natan Ake who just returned from his loan spell at Bournemouth after his impressive displays for the Cherries.
Rahman arrived at the Stamford Bridge last season for £14m from Freiburg making just 15 appearances before making a loan move to Schalke last summer and has made 13 appearances in the Bundesliga this season.
