As far Manchester United transfers are concerned, there are some claims currently circulating in the media that the club have made a late move to secure the services of Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to the Sun, the Old Trafford club have made contact with the player’s agent – Jorge Mendes – and are aiming at snatching the £88M deal away from Juventus’ grips.
The Portugal international first moved to the Theater of Dreams from Sporting Lisbon in 2003 and was able to evolve into a super star at Old Trafford.
He joined Real Madrid in 2009 and went ahead to win various top trophies for the La Liga giants, including 5 Ballon d’Ors.
He has however reportedly fallen out with the management at the Bernabeu and has been strongly linked with a move to Juventus in Turin.

However, it appears Jose Mourinho’s side have made a late move to try and hijack the deal.
The Sun are currently reporting that the red devils have made contact with Mendes to make known their interest in bringing the Portugal captain back to the Theater of Dreams this summer transfer window.
