It appears the recent comments made by Chelsea boss Antonio Conte on Tottenham star striker Harry Kane is not going too well with the club’s boss Mauricio Pochettino.
The Chelsea boss has recently said he’d love to sign the talented forward for Chelsea.
Kane has finished as the top scorer in the English top flight for the last two campaigns, making himself one of the best goal-scorers in the world.
This summer, premier league champions Chelsea have splashed the cash to bring in former Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata after paying the La Liga champions £60million.
But when their manager Antonio Conte was recently asked who his favorite striker was, he made mention of Kane as one of the best strikers in the world and he will love buying the Englishman since he’s a complete striker.
Tottenham finished second behind Chelsea last term in the premier league and Kane played a big role in his side’s success, and his manager does not seem comfortable with Antonio Conte’s comments on him.
‘It made me laugh. I don’t know why so many managers are focused on our club.’ Pochettino said when he was asked about Conte’s statement.
‘I like to show respect (to other clubs) but I expect the same from people who compete with us.’ he added.
Tottenham Hotspur have been silent in the ongoing summer transfer window and are yet to bring in any new leg into their team. However, Mauricio reassured fans that the club will be making additions before the transfer deadline.
