Chelsea will have to deal with the threat of Premier League top-four rivals Manchester United in their bid to sign highly rated Fulham winger Ryan Sessegnon following the news that Red Devils are eyeing a summer bid for the player.
This is according to the publication from the Daily Express which claimed that the Red Devils are preparing a £50m bid for the young English winger.
Ryan Sessegnon burst onto the scene in the English Championship last season when his form propelled Fulham to Premier League promotion via the playoffs.
The Cottagers returned to the top flight of English football last summer via a 1-0 win over Aston Villa in the final of the playoffs.
Apart from Chelsea and Manchester United, Ryan Sessegnon has also been linked with major Premier League sides like Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
Sessegnon, 18, has failed to replicate his Championship form from last season in the Premier League this term but that has not stopped Manchester United from trying to sign him.
The Red Devils didn’t have much chance to run the rule over their target in close proximity when Fulham and Manchester United met on Saturday morning.
Manchester United thrashed Fulham 3-0 away from home with Ryan Sessegnon coming on in the last ten minutes.
