Lukaku can’t stop critics from being negative

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has maintained that he cannot stop his critics from being negative of himself and his side.

The Belgium has gone six games without finding the back of the net in all competitions.

He had started from the bench in the 3-2 win against Newcastle with fans asking him to be left out of the team and that did get to him.

He had written on his Snapchat account that he will not be bothered about what people say as he cannot really stop them from being negative.

The Belgium international is currently with his national side and he thinks the win against Newcastle will ease the pressure on the team, a development that will help them in moving forward.

He had hinted on cooling off at his country before returning to England for the games against Chelsea and Champions League against Juventus.

Lukaku has been quiet in the midst of the controversies at the club as he wanted to stay away from being mentioned in the mess. That probably would have affected his game knowing he is unhappy with the situation at the club.

Calm is expected to return to the Old Trafford with the last win before the international break but a win against Chelsea will help the more.
