Arsenal would-be kit sponsors have unwittingly told the club the importance of keeping contract rebel Aaron Ramsey in the team.
This was made known when Addidas finally put to pen a £300 million deal that will have them take over from Puma as Arsenal kit sponsors for five years straight.
Addidas CEO Kasper Rorsted had stated that the Gunners as a brand is a stellar global brand known all over the world but has underperformed in the last few years.
Rorsted hinted that the company had agreed on the deal which will make Arsenal earn double from what they got with Puma because he believed the potentials are still there for the North London side to return to glory days.
He therefore praised the quality of play in the Arsenal team, not forgetting to mention the 5 – 1 win over Fulham, which to him saw one of the best goals in the game of football.
The Addidas chief was quick to mention Ramsey as someone who scored a goal with the heel.
This unwittingly sends a message to the club that such a player should not be allowed to leave the club amidst calls and pleas for his stay at Emirates.
