Brazil coach, Tite admits he was wrong not to play Liverpool forward in the 2018 World Cup in Russia
Following Brazil 2 – 0 win over US on Saturday, the country’s national coach, Tite has admitted to a wrongdoing after he refused to make use of Liverpool forward, Roberto Firmino in the 2018 world cup in Russia.
Tite had prefered to start Manchester City striker, Gabriel Jesus over Firmino in the world cup.
It was visible in Brazil games as they didn’t go far in the world cup tournament.
This, however, came with a lot of backlashes as many Brazilians believed Roberto Firmino could have done a better job than Gabriel.
Roberto Firmino went on to prove his worth for Brazil after scoring a goal for Brazil on Saturday in the match against USA.
Although, Gabriel Jesus is the future of Brazil football as he still has more years to go in football but Tite should use an experienced player like Firmino in important matches.
With this latest development, Roberto Firmino is sure to get enough playing chances in the national team.
While Firmino scored the first goal against USA, Liverpool unused midfielder, Fabinho created the penalty chance for the second goal scored by Neymar Jnr.
