Former Liverpool defender Steve Nicol has come hard on star player Mohamed Salah over his recent struggles in front of goal.
Liverpool legend Nicol talked extensively about Salah while he was doing his punditry work on trusted media outlet ESPN.
According to him, Salah’s head is gone and he doesn’t look like he will end his goal drought at the moment.
He also questioned his decision making in recent games especially during the game against Tottenham Hotspur.
Mohamed Salah has endured a frustrating time at Liverpool in the past few weeks after going eight games without a goal.
His last goal came during the Premier League home game against Bournemouth in February which the Reds won 3-0.
Despite his struggles in front of goal, Salah was able to make a telling contribution in the last game against Spurs.
With the game in the balance at 1-1, Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris fumbled the tame header from Salah into the back of the net off Toby Alderweireld on the stroke of full-time to hand Liverpool the three points.
Spurs forward Lucas Moura had scored in the second half to cancel out the opening goal from Liverpool attacker Roberto Firmino and both sides would have shared the points if not for the goalkeeping error from Lloris.
