Europa League: See the clubs with Chelsea in Group L, an easy win?
Chelsea football club will be participating in the Europa League once again having last participated in 2012/2013 football season under coach Rafa Benitez (Now Newcastle coach.)
The Blues last won the second-rated league in Europe in 2013.
Well, they are participating in the league this season after they failed to qualify for the foremost league in Europe, the UEFA Champions League.
This was because the Blues finished fifth on the English Premier League table last season but they won the FA cup which was not enough to see them participate in the Champions League.
The Europa League pots has been unveiled and Chelsea will be playing in the Group L.
Other football clubs in Group L include PAOK, BATE Borisov and Vidi.
Like the Blues, PAOK had missed out of the UEFA Champions League after suffering a 4 – 1 defeat to Benfica at their home stadium.
The same can be said of BATE Borisov, who lost a chance in the Champions League to PSV Eindhoven.
While Hungarian club Vidi was also out of the race.
Fans believe it will be an easy win for the Blues but Coach Sarri Maurizio acknowledges that the league is quite tasking.
The Europa Champions league will commence in September and end in December.
