Crystal Palace have joined their Premier League rivals in the scramble to sign Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke when the winter transfer window reopens in the New Year.
According to the publication from joe.co.uk, Crystal Palace are looking to provide a lasting solution to their goalscoring problems and they have identified Solanke as the man to ease their burden in front of goal.
Crystal Palace want to take Dominic Solanke on a short-term loan deal until the end of the season.
The Eagles are fighting to survive relegation at the end of this season and other rivals like Huddersfield Town, Newcastle United and West Ham United are also in the running to sign him.
Crystal Palace are also interested in a move for in-form Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic but his transfer fee is out of reach for the South Londoners and Solanke represents a cheaper option.
Dominic Solanke has struggled to break into the Liverpool team since he joined the club from Premier League title rivals Chelsea at the start of last season.
He signed for the Reds on a free transfer last summer.
The one-cap England international has scored just once in 27 appearances for the club in all competitions since he became a Liverpool player.
