Confirmed: Ex-Chelsea Player Gets New Job

Fulham boss Scott Parker has been appointed the permanent manager at the club.

The former Chelsea player was the interim manager at Fulham until Friday morning when he was given the job permanently ahead of next season in the English Championship.

Scott Parker has been given a two-year deal at Fulham and also been given the mandate to get the club back to the top flight of English football.

The 38-year-old was appointed the Fulham manager in February shortly after Claudio Ranieri was dismissed.

He’s the third manager at Fulham this season after Slavisa Jokanovic and the aforementioned Ranieri.

Scott Parker was in charge of the team when their relegation from the Premier League was confirmed last month.

The damage had been done in the past months in the Premier League before Scott Parker took charge of the team three months ago.

He has won three of the last four games since their relegation from the Premier League was confirmed last month.

Scott Parker was a committed player during his football career and he has been able to transmit that to his managerial career.

The ex-Newcastle United and Charlton Athletic player was on the payroll at Chelsea whom he joined in 2004 before leaving the club a year later.
