Federico Bernardeschi

Fiorentina is preparing to insert  £85million release clause in Federico Bernardeschi who is a major target for Chelsea.

Reports in Italy claims that the Serie A side will try to ward off interest in the 22-year-old winger.

Prior reports suggested that Antonio Conte wants to sign winger in the next summer window, having scored nine goals and two assists for La Viola.

Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Fiorentina want to include a massive clause in a new contract for the winger, with speculations that AC Milan and Juventus are monitoring his transfer situation.

However, his agent Beppe Bozzo is understood to kick against the idea and does not want a big clause in his client contract in a bid to make a move a lot easier for Bernandeschi.

Chelsea are said to be favorites in the race to sign the left winger who could also play as a left wing back position that is being occupied by Marco Alonso.

Conte hinted at new arrivals at the Stamford Bridge despite their current league status with reports that the Blues are keen on adding defensive reinforcements this month.

Following their heart-breaking defeat in the hands of Tottenham hotspur, the Italian boss will look to add more signings to his squad.
