Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray are plotting a summer move for Liverpool striker Divock Origi with the Belgian international star on the fringes of the Reds team at the moment.
The Independent revealed that Galatasaray wanted to sign the talented striker during the just concluded January transfer window but any possible transfer was blocked by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
The former Mainz 05 and Borussia Dortmund manager was desperate to keep Divock Origi as a backup for his forwards in the quest for major honours in the second half of this campaign.
The Reds are the front-runners for the Premier League title ahead of English champions Manchester City with the Merseyside giants two points ahead of their title rivals who have played a game more.
A lot of clubs in and around England were keen to take Origi either on loan or on a pennant deal but the Belgian will stay at the club until the end of this season.
Origi, 23, has not been able to tie down a spot in the Liverpool attack since his move from French Ligue 1 side Lille.
He has already been farmed out on loan twice including last season when he scored six goals in all competitions while he was on a season-long loan at VFL Wolfsburg.
