Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has debunked transfer rumours linking the club with two players on the payroll of fellow London club Chelsea. Hodgson dismissed those rumours during his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of his side’s Premier League clash away to English champions Manchester City billed for the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening.
The Former England and Switzerland boss said that he doesn’t want to talk about players of other clubs when reporters asked him about those transfer rumours surrounding Chelsea players Victor Moses and Tammy Abraham.
Both players have previously been mentioned as potential transfer targets for the Eagles.
Victor Moses rose through to the ranks at Crystal Palace before joining English Championship side Wigan Athletic in 2010 due to financial crisis on the part of the Selhurst Park outfit.
He went on to spend two successful years at Wigan before signing for Chelsea in the summer of 2012.
Victor Moses became a major part of the Chelsea team under Antonio Conte before the Italian was sacked and replaced by compatriot Maurizio Sarri in the summer.
Sarri has already told the Nigerian forward that he has no future at the club thus prompting talks of a return to Palace.
Nigerian-born England striker Tammy Abraham is on a season-long loan at Championship side Aston Villa but recent reports claim that the Blues could recall him with top flight sides like Newcastle United and Crystal Palace interested in signing him.
