Premier League giants Chelsea have reportedly opened talks to sign highly-rated Borussia Dortmund forward Christian Pulisic in a deal that could be worth as much as £60m.
According to popular English news outlet Daily Mail, the Blues want to agree on a fee for the American international star for him to join the club at the end of this season.
It was further revealed that a transfer fee is still yet to be agreed between Chelsea and German Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund.
Earlier media reports had said that Chelsea have already agreed to a deal for Pulisic but those rumours were swiftly debunked by Borussia Dortmund.
Pulisic has 18 months left on his Borussia Dortmund contract which expires at the end of the 2019/20 season.
Apart from Chelsea, Christian Pulisic has been linked with other English top flight heavyweights like Manchester United and Liverpool.
It was revealed that the player favours a move to Liverpool ahead of Chelsea and that he believes that a move to Stamford Bridge could spell doom for his career.
The 20-year-old has been on the fringes of the Borussia Dortmund this season and that’s mainly due to the form of fellow forwards Jadon Sancho and Johann Bruun Larsen.
