Real Madrid and Chelsea will slug it out for the signature of AC Milan in form playmaker Suso as Maurizio Sarri is interested in bringing him to the Stamford Bridge in January.
Suso, who had a spell in the Premier League at Liverpool from 2010 as a youth player before he subsequently left the Reds for Milan in 2015, is the cynosure of all eyes at the moment in Italy and is now the centre of transfer interest from two of Europe’s Elite clubs.
According to reports, Chelsea boss Sarri has ‘taken the first steps’ towards a deal but new reports suggest Real are even showing more seriousness at the deal.
The report further stressed that Real president Florentino Perez has eyes on the Spaniard whose release clause by next summer will be set at £60m.
The clause is only open to non-Italian clubs, so Milan are not bothered that the player will haunt them in the Serie A if he moves to a domestic rival.
Suso joined Liverpool as a youth player in 2010 and failed to make an impact at Anfield , he then moved to Milan in January 2015 but struggled initially there, going on loan to Genoa before returning to Milan as a first-team regular.
