Manchester United have been told that Tottenham Hotspur will only listen to ‘outrageous’ offers for Danny Rose, according to reports.
The left-back has been tipped to leave White Hart Lane this summer, and his explosive interview with the Sun, has further fuelled the speculations as he nears recovery from a knee injury that has kept him from the field of play since January.
United are believed to be considering a move for Rose, with reports that boss, Jose Mourinho will approve of a deal for a strong defender and could involve Luke Shaw in a potential move.
The defender has since his controversial statement, been linked with an imminent summer exit despite his apology that was swiftly accepted by Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
There were even speculations that the interview was engined by Mourinho, who is a keen admirer of the defender but will have to beat Chelsea, following reports that Antonio Conte has told the Blues to look into their chances of signing the left-back.
Reports in the Daily Telegraph claim that Manchester United and Chelsea will have to table an ‘outrageous’ bid to sign Danny Rose. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is known for his shrewdness in handling transfer business and will try to sell Rose for a similar amount he sold Kyle Walker to Manchester City (£50 million) earlier this summer.
