Liverpool Set To Complete Record Transfer After Agreeing Mohamed Salah

Roma star player Mohamed Salah has emerged as a target for Liverpool this summer.

And according to new reports coming from Egypt, the Anfield club are on the verge of signing the talented player after agreeing to meet his club’s valuation.

Earlier this month, it was said that Liverpool had a £28 million bid rejected for the Egypt international and were unwilling to match the price Roma were asking for him (about £40m).

It is understood that Liverpool and the player had already agreed personal terms that will see him go home with £90,000 each week and even though Liverpool are still holding talks with Roma, a transfer fee is yet to be agreed on.

In a new development however, Egyptian news outlet KingFut are reporting that the Anfield club will submit a €45m (£39.3m) offer to Salah’s club on Sunday after accepting that the Italian club will not compromise.

It was also confirmed that the winger’s agent was in London to finalize negotiations with Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Roma are required to sell one of their main players before the end of this month due to Financial Fair Play regulations. Since Liverpool are so interested in the Egyptian, the Serie A club could use him to balance the books.

Salah scored 15 goals and provided 11 assists in the just concluded Serie A season at Roma.
