English Premier League side Arsenal are reported to be prepared to move in for Hoffenheim highly-rated midfielder Florian Grillitsch in January when the winter transfer window eventually reopens.
The Gunners are reported to be ready to beat their London rivals Tottenham in the bid for the player so as to secure his signature ahead of the transfer window.
The 2e-year-old has impressed so far in the German Bundesliga since joining Hoffenheim from Werder Bremen in 2017 and he has been able to find the back of the net once in the 18 games under his belt this season.
Reports say Tottenham and Arsenal are expected to battle for the player knowing that the Gunners will not be given a free ride for the signature of Florian Grillitsch.
Florian Grillitsch has a goal to his name in his German Bundesliga’s outing in the group stage of the Champions League this season.
The star player might just be the replacement for Wales international Aaron Ramsey who is doomed to leave the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season after failing to agree to contract terms with the North London side.
Howbeit, Florian Grillitsch will receive an offer from both sides and will be expected to make his decision.
