Top Swiss Player, Xherdan Shaqiri has managed to get his first start as Klopp rest Mo Salah
Liverpool having host PSG in the Uefa Champions League on Tuesday night are back in the English Premier League.
And this time around they played against Southampton at Anfield having defeated Tottenham Hotspur at their home stadium, Wembley last two weeks.
The game as expected was an easy win for the Reds as they have beaten Southampton on a number of occasions in the past.
However, there is was a slight change in the Reds attack as Xherdan Shaqiri joined the likes of Sadio Mane, Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino on the field of play.
The game saw the duo of Xherdan Shaqiri made a perfect combination especially with the free kick that brought about the second goal for the Reds.
This will be the first time Xherdan Shaqiri will start for Liverpool FC since joining them from Stoke City in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool fans were glad the new change even though it only lasted for the first 45 minutes as they have been hoping to see the Switzerland international play at Anfield.
The Reds are expected to continue with their 100 per cent win for the seventh week having defeated Southampton Yesterday.
