Sleeping French Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco are the latest club to be linked with experienced Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas who could leave the club in the January transfer window.
The Spaniard has just six months left on the five-year Chelsea contract that he signed when he joined the club from Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona in the summer of 2014.
Fabregas is edging closer to the exit door with the club reluctant to commit him to a new deal at the club and this has led to several interests in and outside England.
Seven-time European champions AC Milan, Arsenal, Manchester United and Fenerbahce are some of the clubs linked to the 31-year-old.
French side AS Monaco are the new team in the mix with manager Thierry Henry eager to improve his squad with the experience of Cesc Fabregas in his quest to guide the Principality club away from the relegation zone on the league table.
Thierry Henry and Cesc Fabregas were teammates at Arsenal before the former left the club for Barcelona in a £16m deal in 2007.
Fabregas had joined the Gunners in 2003 and was on the fringes of the Arsenal team that achieved invincibility at the end of the 2003/04 season.
