Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has responded to rumour surrounding a potential transfer move for Manchester United star Anthony Martial.
Martial dropping down pecking order
The France international forward has not been a regular starter for Manchester United in the second stanza of this campaign and there’s been growing discussion that he could be set to leave Old Trafford.
According to the Guardian Premier League giants, Chelsea could look at Anthony Martial as an option to replace Belgium international Eden Hazard, while the Daily Express have talked about the player being unsettled at Old Trafford and potentially costing £60m to sign him from Man Utd.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, however, has failed to provide any information on the likelihood of a transfer, though he refused to rule out anything as he simply attempted to move the conversation forward.
Chelsea could sign Martial
The Italian manager was talking at his press conference earlier today, as cited by football.london, and disclosed he did want to continue talking about players from other teams out of respect.
The Blues and the Reds have done a lot of business recently with Manchester United mostly benefiting by recruiting top names like Nemanja Matic and Juan Mata from Chelsea.
