Another Liverpool star assures fans of title race

Liverpool were at their best during the weekend game against Cardiff City at Anfield.

The game saw Mo Salah scored the first goal for the Reds in the first half before Sadio Mane went ahead to add another goal, however, Cardiff where on the brim of getting an equalizer after a goal from Callum Paterson but Xherdan Shaqiri scored the third goal to clear all doubts, Sadio Mane ended the game with a fourth goal.

However, following the weekend match, Liverpool player, Xherdan Shaqiri in a recent statement has assured the Reds fans of more performance this season.

According to the Switzerland international, Liverpool have improved but there is more to come.

He said Liverpool ‘have a very good team and we want to be successful.’

Xherdan Shaqiri hinted that if Liverpool continues to play in the way they played against Cardiff City then they ‘can be successful.’

He stressed that the Reds can still improve despite their positive start, he hinted that ”it’s just the beginning of the season and we have a lot of games to come.”

Liverpool remain undefeated and are currently seated at the second spot of the EPL table after Man City defeated Tottenham Hotspur yesterday.
