What Arsenal win against Newcastle means

North London outfit Arsenal are able to secure a 2-0 win over Newcastle on Monday night and that has lifted them to the third position in the Premier League table ahead of Tottenham.

Goals from Wales international Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette were all the Gunners needed to be able to produce their 10th successive home league win for the first time at the Emirates Stadium.

The hope for a Champions League qualification is now brighter for the North London outfit as they are now above Tottenham, Man United and Chelsea with few games left until the end of the season.
