Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has stated that Spanish side Real Madrid have not approached him for the job at the Bernabeu.
The Spanish giants are seriously in search of a manager after the sack of Julen Lopetegui last month with youth team coach Solari taking over the team.
Since his sack, the Los Blancos have been making efforts to have a suitable replacement for the manager with a deal for former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte hitting the rock.
However, latest reports link the former Arsenal manager who is currently jobless after leaving the North London side at the end of last season to the Spanish giants.
In his response, Wenger hinted that he has not been approached by Madrid, which could be a clue to let them be aware of his waiting and willingness to work with the team.
It is no longer news that Real Madrid are long-term suitors of the French boss but his commitment with Arsenal stopped him from moving on several occasions.
Meanwhile, Wenger hinted that he would return to active football in the New Year but noted that he is yet to make any decision on if to be a manager or join the management board of some clubs.
