After crashing out of the FA Cup yesterday, Arsenal fans are not currently the happiest set of people on earth at the moment, and of course, the #WengerOut campaign is coming back.
The French boss is currently worried about a lot of things. His side can’t obviously win the premier league trophy as far as this season is concerned, and even ending the season among the top four is not yet certain.
He is out of the FA Cup, and the only thing he can do to save his job at the end of this season is to win the Europa League (winning the Europa League means a free Champions League ticket)
One of the ways to get this done is to take advantage of the ongoing winter transfer window to reinforce his squad by signing new players and holding on to key players like Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
But Sanchez is heavily linked with a move to Manchester City after failing to sign a new deal to extend his stay at the club.
And there are reports by mirror Arsenal wants to sign Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez to replace the Chilean star player.
Recently, the Algerian international has been repeatedly linked with a move to Anfield, with Jurgen Klopp looking to sign a replacement for departed Phillipe Coutinho.
This season so far in 21 premier league games, Riyad has scored 15 goals for the foxes.
