As per reports, Arsenal are set to increase the transfer budget available to newly appointed manager Unai Emery this summer transfer window as the Spain tactician prepares for his debut campaign.
The Daily Telegraph, as cited by Metro, is claiming that Arsenal chiefs have decided to increase their initial transfer fund of £50million by a further £20million, giving the new tactician in charge of the club some more fund to sign the players he wants this summer transfer window.
Unai Emery was unveiled as new Arsenal boss last week after French tactician Arsene Wenger step aside after 22 years at the North London club.
Arsenal are now ready to turn their focus towards the summer window and the footballers they could look to sign ahead of the manager’s first season in charge.
As per the same report, Arsenal’s new Director of recruitment Sven Mislintat is ready to play a major role in all negotiations this summer window.
