“We’ll increase budget” – Arsenal board set to make strong statement in the summer

As per reports, Arsenal are set to increase the transfer budget available to newly appointed manager Unai Emery this summer transfer window as the Spain tactician prepares for his debut campaign.

Arsenal Chief’s set to motivate boss

The Daily Telegraph, as cited by Metro, is claiming that Arsenal chiefs have decided to increase their initial transfer fund of £50million by a further £20million, giving the new tactician in charge of the club some more fund to sign the players he wants this summer transfer window.

Unai Emery was unveiled as new Arsenal boss last week after French tactician Arsene Wenger step aside after 22 years at the North London club.

Top players expected

Arsenal are now ready to turn their focus towards the summer window and the footballers they could look to sign ahead of the manager’s first season in charge.

As per the same report, Arsenal’s new Director of recruitment Sven Mislintat is ready to play a major role in all negotiations this summer window.

The former PSG manager has been tasked with the responsibility to steer Arsenal back into the top four this term, with the club having finished sixth last season and trophyless.

The Gunners will have to make do with UEFA Europa League football for the second campaign successively after their disappointing term in the top flight this season.

  • The club says their goal is to be 1 of the biggest clubs in Europe and our budget still says I hope you get lucky. We are ranked over 5 years with spending less than some Championship sides. Embarrassing!

  • "We are ranked over 5 years with spending less than some Championship sides." That is a complete and utter lie. Perhaps you should reconsider you ill-informed opinions if you have to literally lie in order to prove them.
