United step up chase for 27-year-old player following Marcos Rojo latest

Now that Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo is looking set to part ways with the Old Trafford, the Red Devils are reported to have stepped up in their chase of Italian Serie A outfit Napoli central defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

Marcos Rojo has lost out of the United team and it is obvious he is not in the plans of the new interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer which is the reason why he would be allowed to leave so as to secure more playing time elsewhere.

This is the reason for why the Red Devils will turn their attention to their long-term target Kalidou Koulibaly who has been linked to the Old Trafford since last year with former manager Jose Mourinho making moves for him before he was sacked.

Emerging reports claim that the Red Devils are now willing to continue in their chase of Kalidou Koulibaly so as to land him in this winter transfer window.

There is no doubt that the Red Devils are in dire need of a central defender and with interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer already doing a good job with all wins in the games he has taken charge of, he could be encouraged with some financial assistance to make the team stronger.
