United start negotiations with No. 11 French central defender

English Premier League giants Manchester United are reported to have started negotiation with Guingamp starlet Marcus Thuram with the hope of landing him in this winter transfer window.

It is claimed that the Red Devils have already prepared an offer for the youngster which will be submitted as soon as the negotiations have been finalized.

Marcus Thuram has impressed this season which has caught the attention of a number of top European sides but the Red Devils are keen and have led the way to the negotiation table.

With French international forward Anthony Martial being linked with a move away from the Old Trafford, it is necessary for the United team to secure a replacement.
